UU. en La Habana emiti\u00f3 una alerta nacional por robos de green cards en Cuba y otros documentos de viaje.<\/p>\n<p>Varias v\u00edctimas reportaron extorsiones de 4.000\u20135.000 USD para \u201cdevolver\u201d documentos. El aviso lo vincula al deterioro econ\u00f3mico, el aumento de delitos y los apagones.<\/p>\n<p>Recomiendan: mantenerse alerta, no exhibir riqueza, no resistirse f\u00edsicamente, guardar documentos en lugar seguro con copias digitales y no ofrecer recompensas.<\/p>\n<h2>C\u00f3mo operan<\/h2>\n<p>Los robos ocurren en aeropuertos, autos estacionados, transporte p\u00fablico y viviendas durante apagones o ausencias matutinas.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n, usan enga\u00f1os a domicilio (falsos t\u00e9cnicos o inspectores). Despu\u00e9s, aparece el chantaje con publicaciones de la tarjeta en redes y compraventas.<\/p>\n<p>Estos robos de tarjetas verdes en Cuba no son aislados: forman parte de un patr\u00f3n que explota descuidos y presi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu\u00e9 hacer si te roban la green card en Cuba<\/h2>\n<p>Denuncia en la PNR y guarda la constancia con n\u00famero de expediente; conserva fotos del da\u00f1o y capturas de cualquier intento de extorsi\u00f3n. Contacta a la Embajada de EE. UU. en La Habana +53 (7) 839-4100; fuera de horario: 1 y luego 0; \u2709 acshavana@state.gov y sigue sus instrucciones; no pagues rescate.<\/p>\n<p>Si tu viaje fuera de EE. UU. es menor de un a\u00f1o, paga en l\u00ednea el Form I-131A (carrier documentation) y gestiona el boarding foil para abordar.<\/p>\n<p>USCIS mide tu ausencia desde la salida de EE. UU. hasta el pago del I-131A. Al regresar, presenta el Form I-90 para reemplazar la tarjeta; solicita un sello ADIT si necesitas evidencia temporal. En frontera, CBP puede evaluar un I-193 waiver en escenarios espec\u00edficos.<\/p>\n<p>Asegura que tu viaje entra en una categor\u00eda autorizada por OFAC.
